Research Scientist
Rebecca Eakin is a Research Technician at CV6 Therapeutics (NI) Ltd., supporting research activities, laboratory operations, and quality processes across the company’s R&D laboratory. Her role includes assisting with experimental workflows, maintaining laboratory resources, supporting equipment oversight, and helping maintain a laboratory environment aligned with appropriate quality, technical, and regulatory expectations.
Rebecca has experience in biomedical science, cancer research, laboratory quality systems, and regulatory-aligned record keeping, with a developing technical background in experimental oncology and laboratory-based research.
Rebecca was awarded a BSc in Biomedical Science and a Master of Science by Research in Cancer Medicine from Queen’s University Belfast. Her master’s research focused on DNA uracilation and was conducted within the Nucleotide Metabolism Group under the supervision of Dr. Melissa LaBonte Wilson, a CV6 Scientific Advisor and head of the company’s academic partner laboratory.
