Kylie A. McLaughlin, PhD
Associate Principal Scientist
Dr. Kylie McLaughlin is Associate Principal Scientist at CV6 Therapeutics (NI) Ltd. and was the first scientist to join the company’s R&D team in 2015. She has played a key role in the preclinical advancement of the company’s research programmes and continues to provide scientific leadership across CV6’s pipeline, spanning candidate evaluation, translational assay development, and pharmacodynamic biomarker discovery.
Dr. McLaughlin has extensive expertise in cancer biology, experimental therapeutics, and mechanisms of cancer drug response. As Quality Team Principal, she also holds a senior role in the governance of the CV6 laboratory’s Quality Management System, supporting technical oversight, scientific standards, and the supervision of laboratory activities.
Dr. McLaughlin was awarded a first-class BSc in Biomedical Science and a PhD from Queen’s University Belfast, completed under the supervision of Prof. Daniel B. Longley at the Patrick G. Johnston Centre for Cancer Research.
