Glen Clack, MBBS, MD, FFPM
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Glen Clack is Chief Medical Officer at CV6 Therapeutics and a physician-scientist with over 25 years of experience in oncology drug development. He has led early-phase clinical and translational programs across a broad range of therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, biologics, antisense oligonucleotides, cell-based therapies, and therapeutic vaccines.
Following medical training at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London and five years in UK clinical practice, he joined AstraZeneca in 1997. There, he contributed to the registration of multiple oncology therapies and later led early development programs targeting hormone signaling, angiogenesis, immune modulation, DNA repair, and tumor-specific genomic drivers.
Since 2015, Dr. Clack has held Chief Medical Officer roles across oncology-focused biotechnology companies and is also Managing Director of Ailse Oncology Ltd., a specialist consultancy supporting clinical oncology development. He is Honorary Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Sheffield and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
