Peter M. Wilson, PhD
Director of Science & Drug Development
Dr. Peter Wilson is a translational oncology scientist with 25 years of experience in cancer research and drug development. As Director of Science & Drug Development at CV6 Therapeutics (NI) Ltd., he leads discovery, translational strategy, and preclinical development across the company’s evolving pipeline. In parallel, he oversees biomarker planning, sample analysis, and laboratory operations for clinical studies, helping generate data that inform mechanism and pharmacology.
Dr. Wilson has extensive experience in cancer biology, experimental cancer therapeutics, and translational biomarker research, with a particular focus on translating laboratory insights into clinical strategy.
Previously, Dr. Wilson trained under Professor Patrick G. Johnston at Queen’s University Belfast before joining the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he began working with Dr. Robert Ladner in 2005. That close scientific collaboration has continued ever since, spanning the preclinical and translational research that laid the foundation for CV6 Therapeutics.
