CV6 Therapeutics to Attend JP Morgan Week

CV6 Therapeutics Inc., CEO and Founder, Dr Robert Ladner will be attending JP Morgan Week, to be held on the 8th-12th January at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco, California, USA. CV6 Therapeutics’ first oncology clinical candidate, CV6-168, received MHRA approval to enter a first-in-human phase 1a trial in early 2024. CV6-168 is a first-in-class DNA uracilation agent that specifically targets the enzyme dUTPase. Inhibition of dUTPase in combination with thymidylate synthase (TS) inhibitors (e.g., 5-FU and pemetrexed) causes the misincorporation of uracil into DNA during cancer cell replication inducing DNA damage, potent activation of the innate immune system, and cancer cell death.
