Dr. Cheryl Latimer PhD has a 6+ years of experience in cancer research involving both in vitro and in vivo cancer models, histopathology and immunological assays.
Cheryl joined the CV6 R&D team as a Research Technician in 2022 and is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the R&D laboratory including adherence to quality, safety and sustainability standards.
Cheryl completed a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science with Diploma in Professional Practice from Ulster University in 2015 where she stayed on for her doctoral research which focused on the antigenotoxic effects of polyphenolic compounds in Colorectal Cancer. Cheryl Currently holds Personal Licence and is an active member of the AWERB (Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body) at Queen’s University Belfast.
